A cheeky note from an angry local was left on a luxury car which received four parking tickets in one weekend.
The £150,000 Aston Martin was left parked on double yellow lines on Friday evening, causing outrage from locals and business owners.
The driver was believed to have stayed in Whitby, North Yorkshire, for the whole weekend.
According to one resident, the driver received the first parking ticket last Friday, and a second the next day.
When the driver returned to the car they removed the two tickets, but kept it parked in the same spot.
On Sunday, residents took matters into their own hands as one placed a note on the luxury car.
Alongside the third parking ticket, the note states: “I am so rich I park where I want.”
The resident said: “The chap must have seen this because he then took the tickets and the nice note, got in his car and drove away.”
But much to his dismay, the driver appeared to just go around the block before returning to park nearby.
The parking woes also continued over the weekend as a Range Rover parked behind the Aston Martin.
It also collected two parking tickets.
On Monday morning, the Aston Martin remained parked on double yellow lines receiving its fourth ticket over the long weekend.
Commenting on the situation, another resident said: “Parking must still be at a premium in Whitby, because a £150k Aston Martin collected four penalty tickets after being parked on double yellows in two different locations this weekend.
“We noticed it on Back St Hilda’s on Saturday night.”
